Additional information for tutorials

This page may be updated from time to time.

Everybody

Bring the Weekend information material posted to you in early September, and anything that you would take to the exam, the Handbook, a calculator if used, etc., plus anything else you can carry which might be relevant for tutorials (paper, pen, ...).


Past papers Courses for which the tutors have requested that you bring past papers.

M208

Students MUST bring the course Handbook.

M248 Bring the course Handbook, calculator and past exam papers 2005/6/7.
M249 Bring the Handbook, and last year's exam paper (2007). Any course material you can manage could be useful but not essential.
M336  
M338 Bring the course Handbook, and the past paper for 2006.
M343 Bring as many past papers as you can get, plus Handbook, Neave, calculator etc.
M346 Bring a laptop if you have one. Also, a calculator with scientific functions, the course text and M346 Handbook
M359 Students should bring all 5 blocks of M359 course texts.
M362

Students should bring all the course units, a copy of the Specimen Examination Paper, and laptops would be very useful.

M820

Students should bring their Course Notes and the Handbook.

M821 Self-help group. Work material will be available from M820 tutor.
M823 Students should bring Apostol (the set book), Course Notes, specimen exam + answers as a minimum.  Also maybe their TMAs.
MS221 Bring past papers. And bring a copy of Mike Herring's questions, and the examination breakdown, if you can. See link for details.
MS324 Bring a pad of paper and a pen.
MS325

Students should bring:
a) Course units and Handbook.
b) Non-programmable, non-graphical scientific calculator.
c) If possible, but not essential, a laptop with Maple loaded.

MST209

Students should bring their Handbook and plenty of paper to write on. No calculator necessary.

MT262

MT262 Handbook is the only essential. Course materials are not essential but students may prefer to have them to hand. Tutor will provide handouts and past exam papers. Tutor will have optional BCB projects, and students are welcome to take a copy, if they have a USB memory stick.

MT365

Past 4 years papers from OUSA - absolutely essential. Additionally, whatever course materials you want to ask questions about. No particular unit is essential but but if you have a question about something in the units, bring the relevant unit with you. That will help you to present your question concisely and specifically.
